Have you ever heard of Taipei 101 -- once the tallest building in the world?

This is how it looks .

See how tall it is? It's even in the cloud!!

It's called Taipei 101 because it has 101 floors.

It is actually 509.2 meters tall , and I think that is about 1,671 feet.

Now the second tallest biuding in the wrold.(The tallest one is Dubai tower.)

The cool thing is that every new year they will spend millions of dollars to set a great firework show to celebrate the new year. And this year,the year of 2008, I went there to do the count down and get to see the breathtaking show.

About me...

Hello everyone! My name is Philip Chen. I feel so lucky to have this great experience in my high school life.Hope you have the same feeling too. :)

Technically,I am also an American. I was born in the U.S.A but I had returned to Taiwan since I was six month old. So it doesn't make me any different from others except that I don't have the ID card of Taiwan.
My friend,Anderw, is also an American too. But he returned to Taiwan just a few years ago.Thats why he is now studying in the bilingual department in our school. We used to hang out alot but since he has to start preparing for the S.A.T, we have fewer time to be together now.That is quite sad. (By the way, we are both Chinese.)

I like to listen to music or watch some videos when I'm alone. I love the video series --- Friends. It's a comedy about six people's life in New York. I hope one day my life could be as colorful as theirs.
I also like to do or lern things that have something to do with computer. Such as assembling computers, programming or using cool programs. Oh, and of course --- computer games.

After a tiring day of school, I like to play basketball with my classmates. Though I am not very good at it, I still enjoy it very much. Sometimes I will practice the guitar if I am in the mood for it.

Hum...,I thik that's enough about me. Oh, one more thing, I am an only child.
