Taipei 101
(Taipei is our capital)
This is how it looks .
See how tall it is? It's even in the cloud!!
It's called Taipei 101 because it has 101 floors.
It is actually 509.2 meters tall , and I think that is about 1,671 feet.
Now the second tallest biuding in the wrold.(The tallest one is Dubai tower.)
The cool thing is that every new year they will spend millions of dollars to set a great firework show to celebrate the new year. And this year,the year of 2008, I went there to do the count down and get to see the breathtaking show.

Wow, that looks amazing! I hope someday I can go see it. This event reminds of the ball that drops in New York every New Year. It is a televised event and a lot of people watch it every year. Hello my name is christina. that is like what we have in New York city. in new york, there is a huge ball that is on the side of the building. it is made of lights and stuff like that. the whole US watches on tv as the ball drops with the countdown to the new year. at the end, there are fireworks and parades and music. it is very fun to watch. one day i want to go to watch the ball drop.
